Iraq exported more than 46 million barrels of oil to the United States in six months

The US Energy Department said it imported 46.49 million barrels of crude oil from Iraq in the first six months of this year.

The United States imported 46.49 million barrels of oil and components from Iraq in the first six months of this year, the Energy Information Administration said Thursday.

It added that Iraq produced 8.6 million barrels of oil in June alone.

Saudi Arabia exported the most to the United States, with 69.459 million barrels of oil and its components.
