Baghdad... Airport measures lifted

The Iraqi Ministry of Transportation said in a statement that the measures on Baghdad airport will be lifted and the movement of citizens and tourists will return to normal.
Iraqi Transport Minister Razzaq Mohabis al-Saadawi announced on Saturday that the movement of passengers and citizens at Baghdad International Airport has been normalized.
Al-Saadawi confirmed that the airport's opening was in accordance with Iraqi Prime Minister Mohammed Shia Sudani's instructions to facilitate citizens' movement through the airport.
The Ministry of Transportation announced the mechanism for citizens to enter Baghdad International Airport in a Friday statement, which was divided into six routes.
He said the entrance to the airport will be as follows; arrivals, departures, employees, truckers, authorized taxi companies, and private ID carriers.
He added that tourists and citizens will be allowed to enter Baghdad International Airport to welcome and say goodbye without being asked for documents, but the procedures will be organized and normal.
