Four drug dealers were arrested in Erbil

Four dealers were arrested and 14 kilograms of crystal drugs were seized.

The Directorate of Combaring Drugs announced Thursday that in the continuation of our efforts to combat and eliminate drugs in the process of investigation and collection of detailed information that lasted several days by the investigation teams of our directorate and then obtaining the approval of the investigation judge, on September 4, 2024, a dangerous drug trafficking gang consisting of four foreign suspects was arrested, who were planning to smuggle 14 kilograms of crystal drugs into the Kurdistan Region and hid them in a truck tire.

It is also noted that the suspects have been handed over to the law and will be dealt with under the Anti-Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act
