Iraqi Financial Supervisory Authority sends a committee to the Kurdistan Region

The Iraqi Financial Supervision Authority (IFA) is scheduled to form a committee to audit the list of salaries, expenditures and revenues of the Kurdistan Region of Iraq (KRG) in the past three months.
According to a letter issued by Dr. Amer Subhi, the head of the Iraqi Financial Supervision Bureau, a 15-member committee has been formed to visit the Kurdistan Region to audit the list of salary expenditures and revenues of the region.
The committee will audit the list of salaries, expenditures, and revenues for the past three months and investigate the oil and non-oil revenues.
The Kurdistan Regional Government (KRG) has sent 85 billion dinars to Baghdad for the first three months of this year, while the non-oil revenue of the Kurdistan Region is more than 1 trillion dinars. it means that handed over less than 50% to Baghdad.
Iraqi Finance Minister Taif Sami said last week that the Kurdistan Regional Government (KRG) has not handed over oil and non-oil revenues to Baghdad.
