The US military has delivered advanced weapons, including air defense systems, to its military bases in northeastern Syria this month, amid attacks by Iranian-allied armed groups west of the Euphrates and threats to the Omar oil field and Conico gas bases in Deir Ezzor.
The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights reported: that in addition to bringing in weapons and military equipment, US forces have begun intensive training in their bases and testing advanced laser air defense weapons and drone counter-attack training in preparation for new developments.
The increase in US military movements comes after attacks on bases in Deir Ezzor and Hasakah, in which this month (3) attacks were recorded, including one attack on the base (Kharab Al-Jir) US soldiers were wounded.
The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights has recorded the landing of seven coalition cargo planes carrying advanced weapons, soldiers, and defense systems in Hasakah and Deir Ezzor.
Meanwhile, 50 military trucks have been sent to Syria through the Walid border crossing in Iraq. The Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) has participated in nine military exercises in the region.
