Iraq transfers the Kurdish parties of eastern Kurdistan to the Surdash camp

Iraq is relocating Kurdish parties from camps in the Kurdistan Region.

Iraqi National Security Advisor Qassim al-Araaji said in a letter that he has received approval from the Iraqi Ministry of Immigration to transfer the Kurdish parties from the Zargoez region to the Surdash camp in Sulaimani.

He noted that: According to an official letter submitted to the Ministry of Immigration on November 19, Iraq's move to station Kurdish parties in camps in the Kurdistan Region is in line with the implementation of the provisions of the Iran-Iraq security agreement.

Iraqi Minister of Migration and Displacement Ivan Faiq has responded to Qassim al-Araaji's letter and expressed his satisfaction with al-Araaji's request and the allocation of Surdash camp for this purpose.
