Iraq: An ISIS base was bombed in Hamrin

Iraqi Special Operations Command said: They bombed a base of ISIS fighters in the Hamrin mountain and killed several fighters.

Thursday, August 22, 2024, According to a statement issued by the Special Operations Command, the 16F warplanes bombed a base of ISIS fighters in the Hamrin mountain range in Diyala province at 07:00 am, killing all members of the base.

"The bombings also destroyed the fuel warehouses, weapons, and logistical equipment of the militants," it said.

"The base, which was used as a gathering point for ISIS fighters in the area, has been used to provide logistical support to ISIS remnants," the operations command said.
