OPEC: Kurdistan Region's oil exports are a violation

An Iraqi deputy says, that when the OPEC Secretary-General visited Baghdad, he called on Iraq to reduce oil exports, and called Kurdistan's oil exports a violation of OPEC decisions.

Mustafa Snead, a member of the Iraqi parliament, said: OPEC has called on Iraq to cut 130,000 to 220,000 barrels of oil per day in compliance with OPEC Plus.

This is because the Kurdistan Region is smuggling oil and has greatly harmed Iraqi oil.
