Seven US soldiers have been wounded in the fight against ISIS in Anbar

The US Central Command said that seven US soldiers were wounded in a joint military operation with Iraqi security forces in the Anbar desert that killed 15 ISIS fighters.

Saturday, August 31, 2024, Seven US soldiers were wounded in a joint attack with Iraqi security forces in Anbar province, the US Central Command said.

A Defense Department official said five US soldiers were wounded in the attack and two others fell but their condition is stable.

The Iraqi military media cell said Yesterday Friday that Iraqi intelligence agencies have killed 14 terrorists, including a leader of ISIS, in a special operation in the Anbar desert.

Meanwhile, Centcom said: that Iraqi forces have killed 15 members of ISIS in a joint offensive with Iraqi security forces in western Iraq.
