The United States strengthens its opponents

Why did the US-backed Afghan government forces, which numbered more than 200,000 troops trained and equipped with the best new weapons, suffer such a rapid defeat, while the Taliban did not have armored vehicles, aircraft, air defense missiles and heavy weapons?

The US administration says its assessment of the situation in Afghanistan was wrong, while accusing the Taliban of deceiving US negotiators and continuing to fight in peacetime.

In fact, this excuse is not appropriate for a great country like the United States, which has the largest intelligence agency, research and surveillance with satellites and aircraft.

Why was the United States shocked by the collapse of the Afghan army and the Taliban's control of much of the country?

The mistake of the United States was that it had too much confidence in the Afghan army and its intelligence, and it was this confidence that embarrassed the United States.

The mistake of the United States was that it had too much confidence in the Afghan army and its intelligence, and it was this confidence that embarrassed the United States.

When a US intelligence report said the Taliban would capture Kabul within 90 days, the Taliban said they would reach Kabul in less than a month.

Meanwhile, the United States ignored Pakistan's efforts at the expense of strengthening Washington's relations with India because it hoped for India's participation in confronting China, and the United States expected the Afghan government to be strong only in terms of the size of the army and weapons.

Taliban-controlled Afghanistan could turn to China, Russia and Iran for help. If this happens, it will be a heavy loss for Washington, but it will be a greater loss for the rest of the American forces in Iraq and Syria, because it raised the morale of the forces opposing the American presence in the two countries.

At the same time, the confidence of those helping the United States has eroded, diminishing the chances of U.S. forces staying in Syria and Iraq.

I think the United States does not want to see the new reality and does not accept the recognition that it is no longer the only power in the world—failure after failure, from Afghanistan and Iraq to the new Middle East.

Afghanistan is now entering an era of backwardness and darkness, where it no longer sees music, cinema, women's hairdressers and men's barbershops. In the near future, beards will be mandatory and women will have to stop working and go home. Whoever stole must be arrested again and cut off his hand according to Sharia law.

The Afghans failed to take advantage of the US military presence to build a different system fit for life. They did not do this. Rather, they engaged in corruption and parasitism, lost people's trust and accepted the advent of a dark, oppressive and backward regime.
